Lot 387(Staffordshire Pot lid potlid Prattware) Exhibition Buildings of 1851 (134) a superlative lid of extra-large size and unique design with black and gilt lined integral moulded border, 232mm diameter, the flange with manufacturer's drill holes for hanging, the reverse affixed with a large handwritten label inscribed: 'This plaque was made at Pratts, Lower Lane, Fenton, and turned by my grandfather, Josiah Amison, about the year 1858.
