Sams of St James Street, contained in a treen cylinder with rotating top to wind in the hand-coloured engraving measuring well in excess of twenty-five feet in length, the cylinder affixed with a colour printed label, 126mm high, first six sections (of well over 120 sections) missing and one taped repair (commemorative, royal, royalty, George IV) * A previously recorded example was recorded as being thirty-six feet in length which in all probability this example is. 100-200
33.     George IV: an oval heavy cut glass spill holder inset with an Apsley Pellat sulphide profile depicted in coronation robes of ermine, 78mm high (commemorative, royal, royalty) * Apsley Pellat sulphides of George IV in coronation robes are also recorded in a variety of poses including longer side whiskers and more flamboyant hair style. 100-200
34.     George, Prince of Wales: a fine quality and extraordinarily heavy Regency hobnail cut glass decanter of mallet shape, the stopper topped with Prince of Wales feathers, the body with oval cartouche centred by raised G and R monograms alternating with panels cut with crowns, the underside deeply cut with a circle of feathers, circa 1815, 275mm (commemorative, royal, royalty) * Given the magnificent quality of this decanter and the associated royal iconography there can be little doubt that it was commissioned for use by the Prince of Wales. 200-400
